Forcefield fun

A great game for outside, although you can modify it slightly to play inside too!  The idea is to make a “forcefield” by tying rope or string between, say two trees, and getting the kids to climb through the gaps without touching anything.  If they touch the rope they’re out – as they have activated the forcefield!.  You could tie the rope between two trees or posts if you’re outside, or if you are playing inside then you could use two chairs or a banister and a door frame – anything you can tie string/rope/wool to really.

You can modify this game further by attaching little bells to the string which will jingle when the string is moved so you’ll know when anyone has touched it!
