Here’s a game that needs a bit of time to set up – but luckily you can let the kids do most of the work! The idea is to create a treasure hunt with clues to take you to the hidden treasure (this could be fruit, sweets, a small toy, a favourite cuddly toy – anything you like). Older children can write out clues to different objects inside or outside – depending on the weather – or younger children can draw pictures of the objects (and you can write a description at the bottom). Each clue directs you to the spot where the next one is hidden until you find the treasure!! Take a look here for exactly how to play
By the way, I didn’t draw these clues in case you were wondering – far too good for me!
